This is a painting of a Death’s Head HawkMoon Moth suspended in Resin over a vibrant Blood Moon and Alcohol Ink background.

The painting surface is made entirely of Art Resin, using a silicone mold to create the shape. Alcohol Inks are used to make the textured background. When alcohol inks are added to Resin a there is a unique chemical reaction, creating cloud-like textures that are one-of-a-kind. Because of this no two pieces are identical and each painting is truly an independent work of art

The painting is a 8 inch circle, a sawtooth bracket has been attached to the back for easy wall display.

The background is made with Blue and black inks, a full moon is painted over top and then another layer of Resin. The next layer is the gold Honeycomb pattern, followed by another layer of Resin and then finally a Blue Carpenter Bee.
